COMMON SENSE NETWORKS CHILDREN'S PRIVACY POLICY

Common Sense Networks, Inc. ("we" or "us") is concerned about children's privacy. The service ("Service") that we operate provides family-friendly entertainment for Registered Users, including children, to enjoy on various streaming platforms. While we encourage children to view and enjoy our Service, their privacy is extremely important to us.

This Children's Privacy Policy explains our information practices in connection with information provided by all children under the age of 13 whose parent’s consent we require for certain uses of their information ("Child" or "Children") on Sites that link to this Children's Privacy Policy.

The Service is controlled and operated by us from the United States.  It is intended for use by adults over the age of 18 and their children for home or personal use and enjoyment.  The Service is not intended for use by students in K – 12 school environments or classrooms.  

We support and abide by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). Our goal is to minimize the information gathered from and disseminated about Children while permitting them to enjoy the Service.

A. How We Collect and Use Information from Children

We do not collect personal information from children.  Children can explore and view or listen to content on the Service, and can "like” and save as “favorite” content in profiles created by adults for their kids, but kids under 13 cannot register for their own accounts.  There is no social interaction between users available on the Service.

Using the Site. We also automatically collect "persistent identifiers" about devices from visitors.

Use of anonymous information. If the information collected from a Child’s use does not identify or allow contact with him or her or his or her device (including, for example, aggregated information), we may use and disclose it for any purpose, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

No newsletters! Our email newsletters and related marketing communications (should Registered Users opt-in to receive them), are for adults only – they are not designed for, or targeted at, Children. Children should not attempt to sign up for our email newsletters.

Persistent Identifiers. When visitors interact with the Service, certain technical information may automatically be collected, to make our Service more interesting and useful, to track analytics, to keep them free of spam, and for various internal purposes related to our business. Examples of information that is automatically collected include: the type of computer operating system, the device's IP address or mobile device identifier, the web browser, the frequency with which the user visits various parts of our Sites, and information regarding the online or mobile service provider. Our Privacy Policy describes the use of Cookies and the fact that third party service providers may collect persistent identifiers or use cookies, including describing necessary Cookies which are enabled for logged-in kids and needed for the site to function.

This information is collected using technologies such as cookies, flash cookies, web beacons, and other unique identifiers. The unique identifier is defined as a User Profile ID This User Profile ID may be collected by us or by a third party, but should the User Profile ID be collected by a third party, that User Profile ID will not be used independently by such third party. In no case would the User Profile ID be used to track users on other sites or services. The User Profile ID is used by Common Sense Networks for the sole purpose of providing support for our internal operations, including in order to: • Ensure that the Sites function properly; • Enable us to conduct research and analysis to understand, address and improve the use and performance of the Sites; and • Diagnose and respond to problems.

B. What Information About Children Is Shared?

We do not capture Children’s Personal Information. We do not disclose to third parties any data related to Children's use of the Services that we collect other than as follows, consistent with applicable law: (a) with a parent's permission, (b) as required by any applicable law, (c) to third-party service providers who help us operate or manage the Sites, (d) to comply with legal process, (f) to respond to governmental requests, (g) to enforce our Terms of Service, (h) to protect our operations, (i) for assistance in fraud detection and prevention; (j) to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of Common Sense Networks, your Child or others, or (k) to permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain

C. How May Parents Access, Change or Delete Information About Their Children?

Deleting your Children’s information and their Profile.

If you are a parent or guardian and you have created a profile in your account for any of your children, you may delete any of those Profiles in your account in the My Settings page or request deletion of a profile at compliance@commonsensenetworks.com.

D.  Advertising.

CSN is committed to the highest standards for safe kids advertising and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and all relevant regulations. In order to make the Service free for users, however, the Service will contain advertising, but the advertising will only contain contextual display advertising and will not use User Information to target advertisements. Please refer to Section II.A for relevant uses of Personal Information as relates to advertising operations.
